Service History

1999 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI GSR in Scotia White.

Exceptionally original, low-mileage example of one of the most sought-after Evo generations. Just 51,884 miles from new with only one previous owner – a rare find in today’s market.

Exceptionally original, low-mileage example of one of the most sought-after Evo generations. Just 51,884 miles from new with only one previous owner – a rare find in today’s market.

Originally imported to the UK in June 2022 by DCY Europe, this Evo VI has been preserved in remarkable condition, free from the corrosion issues that often plague these cars. The underside is in outstanding shape, free from any nasty underseal which can be used to hide problems.

The car was graded ‘R’ during its auction inspection in Japan. We believe this was due to light panel damage, as there is no evidence of structural repairs underneath, although some panels have had paint. R gradings in Japan are highly subjective and can result from minor cosmetic work, unlike in the UK where categorised damage typically follows an insurance write-off. Many excellent JDM cars arrive in the UK with R grades – this being one of them – and we have priced the car accordingly.

While staying true to its factory character, this Evo VI benefits from light, well-judged modifications to enhance its performance while maintaining reliability:

Stage 1 tune by Evotune, dyno-proven 357bhp

Walbro high-flow fuel pump

3-port boost solenoid

Stainless exhaust system with decat

Four recently fitted Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tyres

Brand new discs and pads all round

With its low mileage, careful ownership, and recent import status, this Evo VI is one of the best-preserved examples available. Unlike many Evos of this vintage, it has not been heavily modified or restored for sale – it remains highly original, clean, and honest, making it a rare and desirable collector’s piece.

The car comes complete with its original Japanese handbooks and import documentation, and since arriving in the UK, it has received thorough, well-documented maintenance from respected Evo specialists.
